Camille Henrot

Camille Henrot (born in 1978) makes films, drawings and sculptures with a shared interest in popular myths and science. Her oeuvre takes our relationship to knowledge as its subject, questioning cultural constructions in the broad sense. Her film Grosse fatigue which “tells the story of the creation of the universe” was awarded the Lion d’argent at the 2013 Venice Biennale. Her work was recently exhibited at the Slought Foundation in Philadelphia,

at the New Orleans Museum of Art and at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris.
