Privatization

It was under the Arles light that Vincent van Gogh’s flamboyant creativity reached its peak: in barely fifteen months, he produced nearly 200 paintings, 100 drawings and watercolors and wrote more than 200 letters.

Located in the area classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, the foundation occupies a building composed of several historic buildings, the oldest dating from the 15th century. Between the permanent works subtly integrated into the building, Bertrand Lavier for the portal and Raphaël Hefti for the glass roof of the bookstore, and the temporary exhibitions that highlight the work of Van Gogh and contemporary creation, the foundation is an inspiring place that contributes to the cultural dynamism and renewal of the city of Arles.

The Vincent van Gogh Foundation Arles offers to all lovers of unique moments its spaces dedicated to events through different privatization programs: private and commented visit of the exhibitions, cocktail, dinner, film projection, concert, conference.
