Nicolas Bourriaud

Nicolas Bourriaud has been director of the La Panacée Contemporary Arts Centre in Montpellier since 2015. He was founder and co-director of the Palais de Tokyo (2000–06) and Gulbenkian Curator for Contemporary Art at the Tate Britain (2007–10). He directed the École Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris (2012–15). He recently organized Estratos in Murcia, Spain (2008), Altermodern at the Tate Britain in London (2009), Monodrome for the Athens Biennale in 2011 and The Great Acceleration for Taipei Biennale 2014. He has published several theoretical essays, including Relational Aesthetics (1998), Postproduction (2002) and Radicant (2009).
